Casa Mare

Here's an old photo of the "Big House", the old William Scott mansion that used to stand on the grounds of camp Casa Mare in Seabrook, TX. It was built in 1910, and demolished by the Girl Scout council in 1992. They claim the house was too expensive to maintain, so they'd rather destroy it than seek alternatives. A real shame. It was a beautiful, historic old house.

Sadly this is the only photo I have of the mansion. I think it was taken in the late 80's. If you have any more photos of it, please let me know.
