Draw Lights 4+

With this app, it was surprisingly easy to deck the halls (or photos) with cool, festive lights. I was able to send out suitably decorated photos of our house (and kid!) to appreciative grandparents, and we all feel just a smidge closer to Christmas as a result. There are a lot of good-looking options, but not so many that it made it tough to decide.

My only "complaint" is minor. I love the optional "flashing" effect on some of the lights so much, it'd be nice if exported pictures could have that effect. (Maybe a future version will add an "export to animated GIF" option that retains the cool blinking effect? I hear animated GIFs are popular among all the Tumblr kids nowadays.) Otherwise, it's certainly a LOT more fun to decorate with virtual lights than to pull out the ladder and extension cords!

This app is fun, easy to use and has a lot of different options. I love all the different light options that are available as well as the cropping and tinting aspects. I see a lot of potential growth with this app, too, such as the ability to add the string between the lights (and toggle it on/off if the user has placed lights in such a way as to look weird), as well as the ability to make the different light types bigger. I'd love to be able to have GIANT candles!
