About Kira

Welcome to the website of Jacqueline Kira Hamilton. (That's me. I usually go by "Kira".) I'm a writer, artist, web designer, programmer, and all-around creative person. I'm primarily an iPhone developer these days; I've created two apps of my own, and am also working on apps for Steve Jackson Games.

I've written two programming books, CGI Programming 101 and 201. I'm currently working on several new writing projects, though now I'm looking more at online publishing.

I love to draw, paint, sculpt, and do digital art. I also take a lot of photos (aren't digital cameras great?); flowers and travel are my favorite subjects. One of these days I'll find a better way to sync my photo library on my mac with what's on my website.

I started my Web Toolbox before I even had a domain of my own. There are some useful tools there, like the color picker.

I collect quotes the way some might gather shells on the shore. I've set them up on display here. Fortunately there's endless shelf space...

There's probably more stuff hiding around here, stuffed under the couch or forgotten in some back closet. Let me know if you find the fnord. I've no idea where it got to... :)
